Moxibustion
Moxibustion or "moxa" is the use of the herb mugwort that is burned near the body to create heat and increase circulation.
Moxibustion is a painless procedure and will never be used to cause marks or scarring. Moxa may or may not be used in your treatment depending on the condition you are being treated for. Your practitioner will discuss with you prior to using moxa if they believe you will benefit from it.
If moxa is determined to be beneficial as part of your wellness care, it is included with an acupuncture or HypnoPuncture treatment at no extra cost.
